Full of tribal traditions and honors, DanceAfrica celebrates the rich heritage and ancestry of Africa through dance and vocal performances. Galvanized by the vision of Artistic Director Chuck Davis, DanceAfrica unites Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Bandan Koro Drum and Dance Ensemble and the Booker T. Washington HSPVA World Dance Ensemble to celebrate the cultural vitality of Africa.

Fast becoming a Dallas tradition, DanceAfrica is packed with dance, music, art, and community events—plus the one-and-only DanceAfrica Marketplace held at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Annette Strauss Artist Square. A mainstage will offer opportunities to experience local artists and a children's area will feature arts, crafts and entertainment.
