The mission of Dallas Black Dance Theatre is to create and produce contemporary modern dance at its highest level of artistic excellence through performances and educational programs that bridge cultures and reach diverse communities.

Dallas Black Dance Theatre is supported in part by an American Rescue Plan Act grant from the National Endowment for the Arts to support general operating expenses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

SUPPORT DANCE
Ticket sales and other earned income account for less than 20% of the revenue Dallas Black Dance Theatre needs to cover the cost of performances, arts education, and community outreach.
