Dallas Black Dance Theatre (“DBDT”) deeply values its patrons and supporters. We know that you care about your privacy and that in attending DBDT performances or events, registering for classes or workshops, donating to DBDT, or simply visiting our website, you are entrusting us with that privacy. We thank you for that trust and endeavor to safeguard your privacy online. That said, the following sets forth our policy regarding the privacy of those who visit DBDT online.
By providing DBDT information or visiting DBDT online, you are accepting the terms described herein:
Usage Information Collected by DBDT
Information we collect from our patrons and supporters helps us personalize and continually improve your experience at performances, events, classes, workshops and online. We gather:
- Information you provide on our website or give us in any other way. You can Join Us! by visiting https://dbdt.com/join-us/. Signing up for our periodic paper mailings and emails allows us to keep you up-to-date on all of the exciting things happening with DBDT. We also use this information for various purposes, such as responding to your requests, customizing your future offers and purchasing procedures, improving our products and communicating with you. You may unsubscribe or change your preferences at any time.
- Information from others may be utilized in order to supplement the information we have received from you and to provide you with improved experiences. For example, basic contact information updates are shared among members of a North Texas Arts Organizations consortium, and occasionally information we collect from you may result in a mailing to you by another member of the consortium. You may opt out of these mailings by contacting us at admin@dbdt.com or calling us at 214-871-2376.
Sharing Information
Our patrons and supporters are the most important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling your information to others. We share visitor and customer information only with the affiliates of DBDT, including other arts organizations and programs, as well as other related organizations. However, none of these organizations or other entities will contact you without our consent.
Separate privacy policies apply when you follow links on dbdt.com to outside websites to purchase tickets, register for classes, make contributions or other functions related to DBDT. We review such sites carefully to ensure the ongoing security and privacy of our patrons, but if you have specific concerns about any such sites, please be sure to review their separate privacy policies. (You can tell you’re on one of these sites if the URL in your browser does not begin with dbdt.com.)
Children
Caretakers please do not permit children to enter personal information on DBDT or related websites without strict adult supervision. DBDT is proud to offer performances, classes, products and services for children, but DBDT does not solicit personal information from children.
