Jazmun McCoy is a Las Vegas Native. An Alumna of Alabama State University, she majored in Dance and received her bachelor’s in fine arts. She began her dance career at the West Las Vegas Arts Center in 2012, through which she was granted the opportunity to perform with companies such as The City of Las Vegas West Las Vegas Arts Center Performance Ensemble, Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theatre, Cirque Du Soleil, Broadway in the Hood, and various other year-round entities. She has performed many Modern, Hip Hop, African and Balletic works and continues to train daily in many different styles of dance. Jazmun has trained with many names in the professional world of dance including Nicole Clark- Springer, Dara Meredith, Janine Beckles, Bernard H. Gaddis, Claude Alexander III, Don Bellamy, Ron K. Brown, Hope Boykin and many more. This is Jazmun’s first season with DBDT: Encore!
