Sunday, December 8th Statement: Dallas Black Dance Theatre is pleased to announce a settlement with the American Guild of Musical Artists, which has been approved by the Regional Director of Region 16 of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).  The resolution resolves the pending labor charges filed by AGMA involving our former dancers.  We appreciate the dedication of all the parties who have worked over the past several weeks to reach this agreement. This resolution allows us to move beyond past differences and work with AGMA toward an agreement that supports our dancers and advances DBDT’s mission.

The DBDT Board believes this settlement is the best path for our organization, avoiding costly litigation that could have diverted resources from our mission. We are confident this collaborative effort marks the start of a stronger partnership and a brighter future for AGMA, DBDT, and its artists.
