“I want our black and brown kids to see more African Americans perform.”

– Teacher, Daniel Webster Elementary (Dallas ISD)

“Many of our students would not be exposed if not provided this platform.”

– Teacher, Seagoville North Elementary (Dallas ISD)

“Definitely worth continuing. It was absolutely beautiful, and the students were highly engaged.”

– Teacher, Martha Turner Reilly Elementary (Dallas ISD)

“My students were able to talk about how the dances enhanced the music and made them more interested in the message of the music. There is something most of my students have never been able to see. Between the pandemic restrictions and low socio-economic levels, this was a unique experience which all of us appreciated.”

“They haven’t been exposed to Modern dance as much as TikTok and other social media dances.”
